ABS repair

Anyone know what’s going on? I have. A 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK and was told I need a new ABS module but they cannot get the part in until march 2024

Yes, that part is currently backordered with no realistic ETA. Our shop has had one on order for a few months as well, it is likely to be obsolete soon.

Is it possible to have it rebuilt?

Not from any normal shop. I assume a third party will start rebuilding and re-selling them once the OEM units dry up.

Sketchy mail in websites do exist to have them repaired. You’re better off getting one from a salvage yard.
