This has turned into an interesting thread!
I just went back to O'Reilly and had them load test it. It tested bad so I replaced it with an H7 AGM for $259 + tax. If I get lucky maybe my Avengers! caution light will go out.
I have to run some errands and will use my scanner see if there are any codes related to the ESS.

Umm... No. If you do the Aux delete correctly, there are no lights displayed on the dash. I did this with my 2021 and again with my 2025.

Disconnect the Aux battery line running to the Negative post on the main battery. This is the smaller of the tow lines going to the negative post. At least on late 2021 builds and newer, it is also the one that has the additional accessory post attached. Pull fuse 42. If you do both of those things you will have effectively deleted the Aux battery and will not have the Yellow A! warning.

If you have the Yellow A! warning light, then you have something else going on.
Can you please send a picture of the aux battery line that needs to be removed for a MY21+?

I am looking to do a bypass and just replace the main battery. I am unsure which of the lines I need to pull at the negative post.

Did you tape off and zip-tie the loose line after you completed the bypass?

@MidwestJeeper

You do know that you can do a Jumperless Aux Battery Bypass by disconnecting one wire and pulling one fuse, right?
Takes literally 2 mins. or less to do this.

You are awesome - thank you very much for this.

I plan on doing the jumperless aux battery bypass. Just nervous about the negative wire hanging out there and if my heat shrink and electrical tape solution to tape it off, would be sufficient.

Main battery, i plan on getting an Odyssey Performance (H7 to replace the factory H6).

Actually, I tell people not to shrink wrap it. Just cover it tightly with a piece of slip on plastic wire loom or plastic hose, etc.. This way you can access and use easily if you desired.

IF you do travel a lot or only have one vehicle, I encourage you not to go with the Odyssey offering. YES, very good battery offering but support is very bad for it. AND.. if it dies and you need a replacement under warranty it usually these days takes a week to get the new warranty replacement battery shipped/delivered.
