but, I'm looking to buy a used convertible top for my JLU. Will a folded top fit in the back of my Jeep with the seats folded down?

It should fit, I was able to fit one in my 2 door with the back seat and passenger seat folded down.

It was tight and touching a few spots that I wrapped in towels to prevent scratching, but it fit and I loaded and unloaded it myself.

They manage to put one back there for folks who order the dual-top option, so I'm guessing it will.

I ordered the dual top group on my JLUR, the soft top came in a giant box, seats down, so yes.
