Hi everyone - first time Jeep owner here and I feel defeated. Mine is doing this, my dealer is clueless AND I lose the 2H 4H N 4L display too. Has anyone had both of these problems?
Hi @theroamingcolt,

If your Jeep is in service and your dealer is having a hard time diagnosing the concern, please send our team a private message. We can investigate this further for you.

Hi there! I had the 999,999 show up upon starting my Jeep on Saturday. I drove about a mile and it went back to the original mileage. I took it in to the dealer today and when they tested the computer, it did not show any problems. Luckily, I had taken a photo of the mileage as they hadn't heard of this problem. They said they did some type of software update and am hoping this will fix the problem.

Mine has done this a number of times... When I first start up the Jeep, 999999 miles. Then after a few minutes it will reset to my actual mileage. I'm still wondering if this is a real problem.

EDIT: Found this thread so I guess it is real. Next oil change...

Well, mine has done it a few time now too. It seems to be happening more frequently now too. Guess it's time to go to the dealer and get this taken care of. While I'm there they can do the steering stabilizer recall too. Dang I hate taking my Jeep in. :(

@JeepCares I sent you a PM regarding this.

Our Sport did the 999999 thing on Monday but went back to normal almost immediately. That was around 359xx miles and at first I thought, has it always done that? Yesterday it did it again but stayed on 999999 for about 10 miles before showing the correct mileage. Today is Thursday and the mileage is 36036. I found this thread above and called my dealer. Since the mileage was under 36000 on Monday they are going to cover the re-flash under warranty. (I managed Warranty for a major off road equipment company for several years so I knew they could. The nice thing is I didn't have to ask.) Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Other than this (and a rear defrost tab) our 2018 Jeep JLUL Sport has been trouble free and FUN !!

FWIW, they seem to have fixed mine. I haven't had any recurrences of it since I took it in. JeepCares gave me the TSB number, which I gave to the shop. I dropped it off in the morning and by mid-day they had the TSB and steering stabilizer recall both done.

I have this going on now and jeep is going back to the dealer tomorrow. Would you be able to post the TSB in the thread or PM me?

TS 08-108-18. It's listed in some of the posts above but you can also click on this thread.

Anyone else have this happen? Center section of the cluster never came on at startup yesterday. It stayed out while driving. The next time I completely shutdown everything and restarted it was back to normal. This was not a dimming of the lights. The center section was completely out. Hopefully tomorrows software update for the 999999 issue resolves this as well.
