Weird. The range went up after if was fixed (possible, if you drove very efficiently for a short while), but the trip ODO went down.

You should've driven it while it showed all nines and video'd the turnover to zeros (or is it a 7-digit display??).

Mine does this all the time, it will eventually go back to normal as you drive, I'll be taking it to the dealer soon.
