I finally got to install one of the cheap Amazon knock off Mopar tailgate reinforcement brackets and having installed 100's of the Mopar brackets, I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't come from the same factory.

So if I wasn’t able to get mine (Mopar) from a friend for 75.00, there is no way I would buy it for 600 plus, but then again, a single Mopar lugnut is 23.00 each lol. So I guess Mopar math works.

Thank you and thank you for posting this. I only have a 33" tire on mine but its still heavier than stock. I think im doing this.

There are three threaded raised bosses on the right side that do not exist on my factory-installed reinforcement panel.

I'd like to have those threaded bosses on mine.

I noticed that also the factory equipped tailgate reinforcement does not have the threaded bosses, but the Mopar accessory when purchased over-the-counter does along with this Amazon version.

Interesting. I had wondered, but didn't know as I've not seen the accessory version.

those used to be on the factory ones not sure when they changed. My buddy has a 2023 with factory hinge (xtreme rubicon) and his has them. I agree I wish mine had them. I even asked about a while back.
