I'm headed out to do some boondocking for the weekend and my head unit simply died.

My wife wife had left the fridge on after running trails Tuesday. That resulted in the "aux switches not available" warning and it struggling to start.

After filling up at the gas station it started fine, but the Uconnect is dead. Power button does nothing.

Thoughts on how to diagnose it?

I'm guessing a soft reset won't work. Maybe try it anyway, if you haven't already done it

Don't know if you had the same results as I did put this is what happened to me.
Went to star my jeep and the dash and radio went black.
After the third attempt if fried my 8.4 radio.
Turns out the aux battery had failed and some how fried my radio.
$750 for a used radio and $250 for a new mail battery.
NO more aux battery in the system. I did the aux battery delete on both my Wranglers.
Works perfect. No issues.

Nope, it recovered (relatively) fine after reseating fuses. I did, however, lose air conditioning for about a day.
