5inch Stereo

I am thinking about ordering a bare-bones JL 2door Sport from the factory. Does anyone know if the 5inch stereo has the back up camera?

I hate to spend the extra grand for the 7inch stereo (I am going to probably replace with aftermarket in the future) but I really want the factory back up camera.

I'm considering the base stereo as well.

All 3 stereos (5", 7", and 8.4") have the backup camera, they all play Music, they all play Media, they all have Voice Recognition, Bluetooth, and they can all play Spotify or other Streaming services from your phone. Why spend the extra money just to get the larger screen.

BTW, The 7" isn't available in the Sport. You'd have to upgrade to the Sport S. So the 7" upgrade is more like $3,000 extra (although, you do also get power windows and locks).

Thanks!! I made a typo, I probably going to get the Sport S . But on the Sport s the 7inch appears to be a $995 option.

The 7" display also gets you Android Auto and Apple Carplay. That basically integrates navigation into your car without having to buy the 8" stereo

This is correct. This is part of the technology group which also includes the upgraded dashboard EVIC cluster.

Get the 7", I screwed up and got the Alpine speaker system, and the 5", because I thought the upgraded instrument cluster was for the Rubicon, and Sahara models only, man, was a wrong, so wrong, now I'm stuck staring at a B&W instrument cluster, and the 5" radio, well at least the Alpine speakers rock. At some point I will probably upgrade to the 7" screen, but the requires the screen, a bezel, a/c controls, and a dealer programming, unfortunately that doesn't fix the instrument cluster, maybe I can find a fix for that as well, but instead of paying $995 now I'm looking at about a grand. Word of advice, get the 7" with the Alpine speaker package.
