I ordered 4XE High Altitude on 1/9. Currently in storage no sticker yet.

@JeepCaresTo Be Honest I think that JEEP owes everyone an explanation, the fact that these are 50K plus cars and they can't even tell us what's going on or an estimated delivery is wrong.
I've been saying the same exact thing. To Be Honest I think that JEEP owes everyone an explanation, the fact that these are 50K plus cars and they can't even tell us what's going on or an estimated delivery is wrong.
Jeep Cares never even bothered to respond to me with a PM I sent them two times.... Just sayinI've been saying the same exact thing.
Sounds like I might need to trash my trip planned to Moab the first week of May thenI’ve tried to warn everyone that nothing would happen until at least March. The same thing happened with my Pacifica PHEV launch. I ordered it in December and took delivery in May In 2017. I just got an update from my dealer today that my ship date just got pushed back from 3/1 to 3/13. Like I’ve said, none of these dates mean anything until units start leaving the plant. It would be considerate for Jeep to address the issue, but Chrysler never did either. It just magically appeared one day.
I think you’ll be ok. I’d bet by mid to late April you’ll have it. I just wouldn’t bet a lot?I bet everyone with the 3/1 ship date is also now 3/13. I will just assume this since my ship date was also 3/1. I need mine for a 5/14 trip plus I need a day to switch out the class II hitch.... so will just have to see how it plays out.
Don’t think it’s a chip issue. Our vehicles are built and just waiting to be released. I might agree if they weren’t being built. Probably some sort of certification that has to be finalized. IDKThese delays are industry wide thanks to the global chip shortage. On the bright side people reserved Broncos in June and will likely not see them until this June, so it could be worse.
AFAIK the speed limiters are based on the tire that your jeep comes with. Rubicons and Willys are limited to 97mph due to the A/T or M/T they come with, the rest of the lineup is limited to 110 MPH.I was able to add the 4xe to My Mopar Garage and I see this when scrolling through the details.
"110mph Vehicle Max Speed Calibration"
I guess they don't want us to access the full MPH capability with the new horsepower/torque... not that I was planning to go that fast anyway.
Why would anybody want to go 110MPH in a jeep anyway? That should be reserved for the sports cars like Porsche, BMW, a corvette etc.AFAIK the speed limiters are based on the tire that your jeep comes with. A 2 door gets twitchy at speed, our 4 door on 37's usually has the cruise control set in the high 80's on road trips. 1,100 miles to moab is way to monotonous at 70mph.Anything over 80 in a Jeep is white knuckle time. That solid front axle is great off road. Not so great at speed.
