Good idea on waiting six months to buy out, as that gives time to see if it turns into lemonade
I have 10 months left on my lease and this has been the most trouble free car I have ever had. With warm weather and a short commute, I noticed my MPG average is 40.2! As my residual is absolutely embarrassing(bought during COVID), I'll probably have to buy someone else's 4Xe post lease. Just drove to get coffee in electric with the top off.....love this thing.

I can speak to my experience with them. On June 16, 2023 I bought a new 2023 Sahara 4xe. On July 31 2023, the PMI went out with 2368 miles on it. Didn't get to drive it again. The PMI's are on critical back order through the manufacturer, Star. It was going to be October 4 2023 before the new one came in. At the end of August we opted to have Jeep buy it back, that was finally completed December 28 2023. While it was running it ran great. Got almost 25 miles to the gallon running in Hybrid mode even in the city, but I couldn't get past the experience I had with the first one so I bought a Rubicon gas burner and I'm happy as ever!!
