Being from New England, I'd opt for the full time case. If 90% of your use will be New England driving, it makes the most sense to get you more control on snowy/rainy days through the winter. I live out west now and the last thing I want is CV boots and a clutch system because most of what I do here is dry and rock crawling year-round, so my ratio of when I'd benefit is different.
