Any difference in the power install if you have the factory 4 AUX switches in cabin?

Fairlead is on its way so I didn't put on the cover plate yet. When you hit trails do you take the flatlink off or is there a hook you can use with it?

Covered up the handle with black tape, eh? ;)

Platinum models are shifted via the remote, so they have the new 0* handle! :)

Nice sleek look, though kind of weird to see a winch without an engagement handle.

it works well..... you can walk the rope all the way out, and control the winch from 100' away.
one thing however. you'll want to charge the remote up before going off to play. it only takes
half an hour or so, but it'll only hold a charge for a couple weeks. if you throw it into the console
for six months without love, it'll be sad when you need it, and you'll be plugging it into a USB
to charge it while using it, which sort of defeats the wireless thing..... ;-)

i'm an electrician by trade. i can't do anything without a roll of tape nearby.
even with a roll of tape nearby, i don't do much.

Any way I can operate the Warn 10S winch from the AUX button in cabin rather than the manual switch that connects to the top of the winch?

in what way are you referring to "operate"? to power it up, or run the winch in and out?

Referring to running it in and out.
from just a control standpoint, you could use the aux 3 and 4 switches to make it go in and out.

i'd have to look with a voltmeter at the control fob to see how it's wired. assuming you could
just put +12 volts to the terminals to pull in the warn relay and run the winch motor, it's pretty straightforward.

if you'd need to use the feed coming off the winch, and clone the control pendant function, that would
easily be done with a pair of relays.

you'd need to set the aux pushbuttons to momentary contact, and not maintain previous state.
that's done on the touch screen.

and you'll need a plug with a cord to get into the winch, and long enough to reach up to the
battery area.

so, you are gonna have to buy a control pendant and cannibalize it for the cord.
not all that big a deal to accomplish.

Thank you so much. Looks like I have my work cutout.
