Please list MPG over total miles, percentage spent on highway/city/offroad, size of tires and if you’ve calibrated your speedometer for the tire size

I’m at 13.3 MPG over first 1000 miles
60% highway/40% city/0% Offroad
On 37s and calibrated for 37s

We only have around 350 miles on our 392, it's doing better than our 07 Rubicon. Range is around 18 mpg. Dropped to around 15 during a 100 mile forest road trip.

To be honest I don’t really care the mpg on my 392. I only wish it don’t have any random glitches like my 18 does. Still surprises my every other day even after 3 years....
Just happened now, 4.7 mpg?

Just a fyi, we are up to 350 miles on our 392. The transmission may have a issue. The transmission computer is learning my driving style. A few times, after coming to a complete stop, instead of shifting gears like it should have (in drive) when I accelerated it thought it was in manual and stayed in 1st gear, running the rpms up. I talked to the service department, going to watch it closely and make sure nothing is bumping the shifter. I'll let this forum know what happens.

I have 950 miles on my 392. The first 150 miles or so were all local roads and I was at 10.9 mpg. I’ve taken a few road trips since then including 500 highway miles this weekend. Fuel economy was really good on the highway (as expected from my experience with V8s). The range is pretty good for highway driving. I am now at 18.0 mpg cumulative since new. Will see how quickly that goes down with some backroad fun!

Sounds like from camping site to the next, MPG is decent on the highway but definitely takes a hit on the backroads and trails. I just want to take delivery already to test it myself.

Over the first 2k miles, almost none of it off road, sadly, I typically average about 16 mpg. I did get 18.3 on one tank, though.

How is that sad really?? 470HP V8 that gets better gas mileage then any of the older Jeep’s that had the V6 and 5 speed auto?? I truly feel sorry for you guys complaining about bad gas mileage after spending 80K on a Jeep with 470HP that you have been asking Jeep to make for years…lol..seriously first world problems enjoy and be thankful!!!

I think he means sadly he hasn’t gone off road.

Any mods?
Nope not really. Stock tires, bumpers, no real additional weight.

Yeah I’m eating through fuel, but I’m happy as can be.

There’s a Dave Ramsey angel on my right shoulder saying what are you doing crazy fool? And there’s the Grant Cardone devil on the left shoulder saying hell yes, multi-millionaires don’t care about MPG or the price of Oreos. Sales cure all, so enjoy that 392 :)

I enjoy the voice coming from the left shoulder more.

I just got back from a trip to Ouray from Tucson. My 392 has 37" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, 4.88 gears and currently has a 2.5" spacer lift. Everything is calibrated and confirmed with GPS. In the 600 mile trip back from Ouray on the highway running anywhere from 55 to 80 I got 17.4 mpg.

I seem to get around 13mpg. I'm sure I could get 17 if I wanted to, but that's not why I bought this. I'm also on 37's with 4.56 gears
