Hi all--building out a 392 online.. Looks like when you add the 35" wheels the max speed is 110 MPH. Any idea why that is called out Is that more or less than the 392 on stock wheels?

Standard 392 is 99, governed… I wouldn’t want to go that fast in this platform.

definitely not lol... I do find it interesting that the larger wheels and higher lift can go faster though

I think they mean they calibrate the vehicle for the bigger tires. The wording is confusing. They add that there just to add another item so it looks like you get even more from the package.

110-MPH vehicle max speed is the max speed on the JLs. So I think they just slapped that on there for the Xtreme package and didn't take into account it is a 392. I dont think it means that now you can go at 110MPH.

It all has to do with the speed rating of the tires. The stock 392 is governed to 99mph.

That's the reason why there's a "J" in the 'JL' designation -- it's an apt description of the Jeep's horsepower(required)-to-speed curve, lol.

Just kidding, of course, but I bet it's close to that shape, given it's pretty much a brick.
A very one-of-a-kind, stylish, duckable brick, but still... :like::rock:

Cheers,
