392 Hydro Bumps

Good evening!

For those of you with hydro bumps - Fox or King - where did you cut the existing bump stop perch? On an XR that thing is long, and cutting it where the instructions say would be taking off a bit chunk.

I cut them more, to get it to the length you would have with a regular JL. If you cut any less, you won’t have much adjustment up or down. I don’t have a good pic or measurement for you though.

I wanted to expand my answer and give more useful information. Here are some pics and measurements. These are Metalcloak 3.5” 392 springs (same as JK 3.5” springs)

I cut the king bumpstop extensions down to 2” from the standard 3”. I have 3” of uptravel before they engage, for a total of 5” uptravel from ride height.

Roughly 7” from lip of spring bucket to bottom of extended bump where mine are set.
