I just bought my first jeep! 2024 jlu Rubicon 4xe. I live in an area with four full seasons. Winter tires make a huge difference. I'm having trouble finding winter tires (xice, blizzak, etc) in a 35 inch tire (with a 17 inch wheel).
I'm hoping for insights from anyone else in this situation. Is it a good/safe solution to run larger wheels (20 inch for example) in order to get to a 35 inch tire?
This is my daily driver hauling 3 kids around. I'll also be heading up mountain roads in winter (ice, snow) for skiing, etc. so I'm willing to invest in a winter setup for the best ice traction and stopping capabilities.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. this is my first post so please be gentle.
