2021 JL Willys 4dr 3.6 eTorque
Hey everyone. I recently purchased a new 2021 Willys 4dr with the 3.6 eTorque coupled with the auto transmission. I have a 2” Dynatrac lift AND 18” wheels with 35X12.50 Open Country ATIII. I expected the decline in acceleration and fuel economy but I’m wanting to do something to offset the weight of the new wheels and tires. I haven’t found a programmer or supercharger that works with the eTorque. Do any of you have recommendations for gaining additional hp and torque? Maybe there are products that I just haven’t found yet. Thanks everyone!!

Re-gear your axles, it's the best resolution after lifting and going with bigger/heavier wheels and tires. 4.56's would be a good option and make your Jeep feel more like stock.

Any CAI or exhaust won't give you enough (if any at all) additional HP and Torque to make a difference.

If you haven't yet, get a programmer (Tazer, etc.) to set the correct new tire size so your transmission will shift properly and speedometer reads correctly.

Thanks for this info. What’s the factory gear ratio? Currently I run down a flat stretch of highway at about 2k rpm in 7th gear. Any thoughts on what it would be with 4.56 gears?

35's and 4.56 go hand in hand. the new recon package comes factory with 4.56 and 35's from jeep. id say its a good match

Isn't the 3.6 e torque new for 2021 model year? If so it will take the aftermarket some time to catch up with forced induction options. Unless you really really want it bad I'd just re gear like everyone else and be done with it. You would have to give your Jeep up to be some big shops guinea pig for several weeks while they figure out how to make something work in there I would think.
