Hey guys. Wanting to go all out performance over time with my 3.0

Yes, I know it's not made for performance, but I want peak gas mileage and torque as well as keeping a very cool sound and having no issues.

What are some mods I could look into?

Currently, I have a
-K&N "Cold Air" Intake (I got it for the sound and look)
-AFE Charge Pipes
-MBRP Muffler Delete

On order, I have
-EOC Race tune and weight reduction race exhaust

Looking into the EOC catch can (looking for a cheaper alternative that won't cost 500 bucks), as well as the EOC EGR Delete.

If anyone has any experience with these or what they did and didn't like with any mods, please give me some input! I want to start brainstorming for my next moves.

Thanks in advance!

(still looking for videos and images of deleted wranglers! the underside and sound clips)

I only have experience for what you have on order, but I did not get the race tune. I know myself and if there power is there, then I will use is, and I don't want to roll coal— which you definitely will with the race tune at full tilt. I also went with a muffler, because the exhaust that came with the kit made it sound like a raspy V6(in my opinion) past 2,000 rpm.

I am not fond of K&N filters due to their low efficiency allowing all sorts of dirt through, and alternately like the AFE Momentum 10R or Pro Guard 7 filters that collect almost 99.9% just like the OE filters. If you like the "feel" of power, then I would go with some sort of pedal sensitivity adjuster like the Pedal Commander or Banks Pedal Monster. They will not add power, but will give you the sensation of having way more low end torque.

I don't want to roll coal 24/7, but it is a party trick for my friends and me. I'm only 19, so it's "cool" being young and being able to do that lol. My 17 F250 rolls coal (I bought it like that), and it's neat sometimes.

I'm actively looking for a replacement for the K&N Intake. I got it on FB Marketplace for less than 150 bucks with a brand new filter, and I've been running that for a few thousand miles.

I tried using a bank's derringer and pedal monster and had nothing but problems, so I decided to just order the delete. I've been waiting for about 3 weeks now and counting, still says my order is being made.

I've heard a few sound clips of wrangler ecodiesel straight piped online, and I love how it sounds, so imm curious about how it'll differ in person. It'll be the first wrangler I've ever seen deleted. I have a buddy nearby with a deleted gladiator, and his sounds sick, so im real real excited to get done with the install when it comes in.

Take my tolerance to loud noises with a grain of salt. All three of my diesel vehicles are T&D'ed, and have mufflers on them. I added a Donaldson muffler meant to go on an 18-wheeler on my Cummins and kept the OE muffler on my BMW. I am not a fan of loud vehicles like I was back i the day, and find things that are loud rather annoying. You may be different and may not need a muffler.

I've 2 JLU Wrangler Diesels and have the MBRP Muffler Delete on both. There was no change in the exhaust's noise level. I'm betting the CAT (et al.) are responsible.
