So this is on a Diesel?
No, this is my 2018 3.6 gasser. I was thinking on trading it in for a diesel, but i don't want to lose 10K in depreciation in less than two years, when depreciation hits you harder. I'll keep it for a few more years and then get a diesel.

The issue is it won't work on the 3.0 Diesel. That forum is about Mods to the Diesel. That is why I asked.

Anyone have a good reason why every single terminal wiring connection on Jeeps has protective tape ending at bare wire before the plug into the component it supplies? I can’t for the life of me understand why they’d leave the most vulnerable piece of wire exposed.
Makes you wonder sometimes. Seems obvious that you wouldn't want it done that way.

I was just showing the difference between the 3.6 and the 3.0, supporting the need for a diesel only mod thread.

What is your opinion on the quality of that whole setup? I've watched a few video's and looked at as many pictures as I could find, and it all seems kinda chintzy to me. But I question whether or not I could do better.....

Did you order the auxiliary lighting harness as well?

Looks good.

Yea I think I’ll be spending some time addressing their garbage electrical work before I blast everything with cerakote from the HVLP. There are a ton of sensors under my 3.6 and I’m sure the DPF, SCR, and EGR all add a pile more on the 3.0.

quality is very nice. Lights are super bright and the whole thing looks factory-ish, which I like. The stock inner liners in the JLs are absolute garbage. They are paper thin, even my JK had thicker plastic. I never did liners in my JK because they were rigid and I trimmed them nicely. This setup will also help with clearance for 40s.

What’s cerakote
Ceramic-based anti corrosion coating, used primarily in the firearms industry, but works wonders under vehicles to keep them from rusting. Sprays on with a standard HVLP setup and lasts longer than any comparable product I’ve come across.

I decided to go with this one to match the black paint/red rubicon hood decals, and black leather/red stitching plus dash on the interior.

ETA: Not to mention red/black tail lights, red accent jeep and trail-rated badges, red/black warn winch logo up front, red license plate numbers etc.

Suggestions on finding a place to do this? Everyone I’m finding is gun related
