4 door is just more comfortable. the 2 door is great for turn radius and break over but its bouncy. the wheel base make all the difference. I personally went four door because ive always had to med to large size dogs and knew i wanted a kid when i bought the Jeep. Glad to have a station wagon when it comes to our setup. camping gear and food in a jeep plus a near 3 year old with a car seat and two doodles space is even limited in the 4door

The answer is 2 door. Next question.

Ask yourself if you have strong opinions that you need to pass on to others. In that case get a 2 door.

Most people do not consider this, because you should get what suits your needs, but when the time comes to sell there is a big difference in demand for a 2 door MT (less than 1%) vs a 4 door AT (97%).

That last little apples to oranges comparison is just as likely due to MT vs AT as to number of doors. Kids these days...

Are you under the impression that the manual in this generation of Wranglers is a good transmission (without replacing big chunks of it)?

Not at all, but for those unaware of the MT suck, the mere lack of folks who can drive stick might be the first problem.

That, plus the fact that manuals haven't improved much in the past few decades in comparison to automatics. Hell, most manuals are losing out to automatics in gas mileage and acceleration, where they dominated in previous decades.

Just drive what you like. There are pros and cons to both. Some quantifiable (wheelbase, turning radius, etc.), some just personal preference (2 doors are Wranglers, 4 doors are kinda squared off minivans), and it still ends up being your call. Do you.

If you want more info, you can check a very similar thread started by a familiar fellow just a few months back...

I thought the 2 doors were in such high demand they they have considered discontinuing them (anyone interested in resale value???). If so, a person may want to consider the Honda Odyssey minivan, or it's equivalent the Wrangler JLUR.

Take a drive by any Jeep dealership. 4 doors outnumber 2 doors 20 to 1 on the lot. As far as I know they generally stock what sells…….

They're stocked to satisfy multiple customer bases such as:
1. People who need a lot of stuff.
2. People who drive up cliffs/walls.
3. People who collect ducks while grocery shopping or taking the kids to extracurricular activities.
4. People who need a little bit more than a lot of stuff.

heheheh...all in good fun 😁

Unless you're talking about things like tumors...or Wrangler doors.
