If this has a thread already started my apologies. If you have replaced your plastic front bumper with a rubicon oem steel bumper are you just changing out the fog light harness because the connector on the rubi bumper and the jeep are not that same. Thanks for any feed back

I'd be curious if this has to be done on the Rubicon as well. I have a 2024 Rubi with the plastic bumper and might some day swap to the steel one.

The connector apparently changed on the MY24. You can either buy a new harness with the new connector and swap it into the new bumper (the fog lamp connectors look to be the same). Or you can pull the harness from the plastic bumper and swap into the steel bumper. I just pulled the harness from my Willys to install an ARB steel bumper and it's pretty simple, but a little time consuming.

Did this on both Jeeps I now own. Wire cutters and butt connectors. Solved.

thank u but I live in NH and butt splices in my opinion are not good option for all the salt they dump on the road during the winter. I went to my local Jeep dealership and for $71 they will have a new harness for me tomorrow afternoon. If anyone is interested I can post the Jeep part number when I get it tomorrow. Ty to all of u that have replied.

Make sure you get connectors that are heat shrink with a heat gun, and put heat shrink tubing over that. It will be fine.
