Hi everyone - here is my dilemma. We had a 1986 CJ7, finally sold it as we know nothing about cars and something was always broken. But we loved driving around with it- top down.
I have a Camry, and I want to trade / sell for a wrangler. My husband has a 4runner which we will keep. We want a 2 door soft top with automatic, basic equipment is ok. my husband want it of course higher and crazier, but as it will be my main car, we decided on a Willys as is a great compromise.
But, I don’t find any 2 door soft top Willy’s in the area! Color I am ok with everything more or less (maybe not red). However, no 2023 out there, the 2024 not out there yet, there is a strike on top. The 2023 (no soft tops) I see are ridiculous expensive.
Would you try find a Willy’s maybe from out of state and try to get a good deal, order a 2024 and just wait (I have found a dealer with decent discount), or wait for the 2024 Willy’s to hit the lots at one point? Or go with a used 2022/2023 trade in (but not sure what the person used the car for)? Maybe some people will have to cancel their orders with 7% internet already ? (We pay cash I think)?
