Ordered new rims and tires. Having some trouble finding TPMS listed for the 25. See a ton to 23. Anyone have a PN for them ? I'd remove from old tires but those are going on my JT.

At some point they changed the type of TPMS sensors used, so they're not all compatible. Make sure yours will work in your Gladiator or else you'll need to buy the old type.

Ya I'm not worried about the JT right now. Just dont want to replace tires on that and new tires on the JL so figured thats a good way to reuse new tires right now. The JT is being demoted to farm use for the most part. Other than running to hardware store or dump it doesn't get used much now.

Great price for the 5 TPMS's you would need for the 2025 is $148.00 shipped..
https://www.tpmsbargains.com/Jeep-Wrangler-TPMS-Sensor-p/tpms-1043-02-335r-2123-wra-5.htm

I get all my TPMS's from tpmsbargains.com
Decent prices, fresh, non counterfeit stock, quick to ship.. Top notch Customer Service..

After you place the TPMS's in the wheels, set psi on all, on the ground wheels to whatever the driver's door placard says is recommended for psi.... then, you go for a short drive and that is it. No interaction on your part needed. After they register in the JL, set psi to what psi you want to run at daily.

I found this out when I swapped my wheels from my ‘19 to my ‘25. The TPMS were faulting and it turns out the ‘25s use a different sensor.

needing a quick solution we just swapped the sensors from my new stock wheels to my old wheels off my ‘19 and it worked fine.

I was pretty annoyed at that moment. Why would you change the TPMS sensors? Makes no sense to me, other than to force people to buy new ones.

I guess it doesn't matter if it's an older JT and you don't care about having functional TPMS in it.

Its a 2020. Get driven once a month if that. I just dont see taking tires to the tire shop and paying to move all the stuff around and rebalace just to get a sensor on dash to tell me I have air in the tire. Maybe down the road but my main focus is the 25 right now as thats whats driving 7000 miles across the country next summer.

In the long term you'll end up needlessly buying two sets of sensors instead of one. But it looks like you're fine with that. At least you knew beforehand.

25 JL/JT ARE DIFFERENT from 20 JL/JT. They changed on 6/21. They had this little thing called Covid and supply chain was a mess. Schrader was the supplier pre-2021 and they had production and supply issues. Continental (VDO) had availability, so they changed to them and hence a different protocol and sensor. They are NOT cross compatible. Hope that helps.

My point exactly. He doesn't seem to care about that though.
