2024 Willys

Does anyone know if you can order the 2024 Willys with Navigation? The Jeep website doesn't have it as an option, but the Rubicon does. Hard to believe any new vehicle would not have navigation especially with a 12 in screen.

Doesn't look like GPS can be ordered for the Sport or Willys, but you get Apple Carplay standard which I would use over the factory GPS anyways.

I get that, but when you are in the middle of nowhere you can not rely on a phone to calculate directions without your cell data working. This is why a standard GPS is required for me. I can bump up the Rubicon, but a dislike the red on the vehicle specifically the interior.

I'd find it strange if you couldn't order the Nav. My '22 Willys has Nav.
However, I prefer using Android Auto over the factory Nav.

A vehicle made in 2023 without GPS is a huge miss on Jeeps part. Add an antenia and the software for a few hundred more. They bundled the front facing camera etc into the Nav package.

I never use the Nav in my Jeep. Google maps has the option to cache map data. "Offline maps" in options. I've used this many times in rural and mountain areas with no cell coverage. Works great.

I have a Rubicon but if I were to get a '24, I would probably go for the Willys.

Most people use android auto apple carplay for navigation these days. Navigation in the car is the map quest print out of 10 years ago.

I was under the assumption Nav was included with the Alpine Radio that's part of the Tech Package. That's the only option package we did not get, so I can't confirm. But, we looked at a Sahara that had the Tech Package and it did have the factory Nav.

Android auto is all you are gonna need, works off GPS signal.
