2024 Willys - Anvil or Earl?

Was all set to order Anvil, but finding an Anvil JK to see in person has been damn impossible. Caught a JLUR in Earl on the road the other day (also extremely rare) and it looked better than what I've seen in pics. So what say yee?

IMO Earl is a greenish gray and Anvil is a bluish gray. I voted for Anvil but my wife would say that Earl is prettier.

If I was able to order a 2024, I would choose between those two colors.
I LOVE my Earl 392. The color is so much better in person. I find myself looking back at it often.
The picture of the Anvil at the reveal looks amazing, but a JK in Anvil just looks dull.
The Anvil on the 392 on the reveal is fire, but I have yet to see a JK and think "man that's the one".

I do get a lot of comments from the lady folk on how pretty Earl is. Makes me think it's a girl color, but I do love it.

Earl is more like an easter egg color, light, greenish, almost minty.

Anvil is more a bluish version of Sting Grey. Very subtle blue, but definitely blue. One of the best ever Jeep colors.

I have yet to see anvil but I’m definitely not a fan of earl. So I’m voting for anvil.

Great feedback thanks. I think Earl looks great in overcast skies like below, especially with the contrasting Black of the Willys and XR package. In full sunlight however, it's a bit too seafoam green?

Looks like Anvil is the more desired color (from the poll so far) - can anyone post a pic that you feel is representative of the color?

I seen Earl JLUR on the show room when getting oil changed, I thought it was Sting at first until I got closer. Much better looking in person than pictures. But the light was not bright and was inside of course. Wasn't bad, but I was always a fan of Anvil.

There is another thread here that answers your question just search for anvil and earl they have pictures of each side by side. Anvil is darker than Sting or Earl.

i had an anvil renegade and loved the color, the color alone makes me want a 2024

I’ve had my Anvil JKUR 10A for almost 6 years, and I thought this picture might be the best representation of the Anvil color be seen in person.

No kidding….. I remember a car magazine article mentioned that the Jeep designer got the idea of Anvil color from a trash bin at the factory.

Thanks - I have to say Earl is growing on me. Wish the XR was available in 3.6L V6 6sp.

One other advantage of Earl is half doors. But no denying the community far desires Anvil.

Earl is probably my favorite color yet but it probably helps that I love both blue and green equally, only topped by an army green. I'm going to have to vote Earl on this one though, something about that minty green just gets my gears going!

Honestly Earl reminds me a lot of that baby blue Porsche had in the late '90s... Obviously it's more green, but it's on that same level of attractiveness. I've only ever seen one anvil Wrangler JK, and it was more of like a shark skin kind of color, which looks aggressive and nice. But I like a little pizzazz more!

I voted Anvil, I'm not a fan of Earl but I've seen Anvil JKs in person and love the color.
