Hello,

Long time first time. Thinking of trading in my 4xe for a v6. Tried to do it for a 2023 but seems like that’s no longer an option. So about the 2024s:

1. Does the rubi get the red dash panel?
2. Do the rear seats still fold flat, unlike the 4xe?
3. Most importantly, can I swap the ugly grill for the 23 grill aftermarket?

Thanks anyone who knows the answers and is willing to share ?

Not sure why you can’t trade for a ‘23 unless you were looking to order a new vehicle. There are ‘23 models on the lots all over the place depending on what part of PA you live in. Quite a few 3.6L too.

Thanks for the reply. But I’m picky, so when filtering by color, soft top, and v6, the pickings are slim and out of state

As far as I know they haven't changed the rear seats.

They have, however, modified the grill so it's no longer possible to put an angry version in. That's the result of years of negative feedback from these forums ?

On a more serious note: make sure you check out the spreadsheet in my sig before ordering.

I think the grill is probably an important consideration for me.Do you know if I can swap for regular grill (non-angry?)

Afraid you will not be able to swap grills; all aftermarket modifications are forever banned for the 2024 model.

seriously what kind of question is that?

Historically the grill has been one of the easiest mods to make. I can't imagine that they would intentionally do something to make that impossible.

I don’t blame you I did the same. My dealer found what I was looking for 500 mile away. They went and got it for us. I personally would not get a 24 unless I liked the looks. You can get a deal on 23s now

I don't see the angst over the grill, myself anyway. It grows on me but only seen these images from here and there. But for being swappable I think the 24 is smaller or at least not as tall.

Updated: Speaking about the grills..... It seems the 2024 Mopar Performance Satin Black grill (Willys gloss black grill) has a more refined and premium look. I kind of like it.

The body color painted grill is the end of a 75 year tradition. It’s kinda like calling a HUMVEE a Jeep. The Willys black grill was bad enough. If a Jeep owner wants to screw with an American tradition, they can.
