The Jeep gods must be having fun with me. 53 years ago I was in our families first Jeep, a 1958 Willys wagon my dad bought from the Peace Core. We explored southern Africa for two years and 25,000 miles in that Jeep then shipped it back to the states.

Jeep is supposed to start building the Ruby X 2-door with 35" tire package this month...So far all Ruby X 2-door's showing either built or in current production are 3.6. However since Jeep is only (currently) offering the 35" package with the 2.0 on the 2-door (Yes, this makes no sense as the 4-door Ruby X w/35" tire package is offered with 3.6 or 2.0) production should start any day...My JLR-X 2.0 is tentatively scheduled for production March 22

I took delivery of my Rubicon X this evening, March 14th. For anyone watching the Jeep.com tracker, make sure to revisit it regularly. When mine shipped, the tracker said that delivery would be March 29th. That changed to March 18th, then to March 13th, and then the dealer called me on March 12th. That puts my final score at 42 days from placing the order to delivery.

One other lesson learned: on the way home, if you're not opening up whatever top you have, open the windows. I think that those new car smell chemicals were starting to get to me.

This is quick. I have the same build and color with the exception of the SOT. I ordered mine right around the time Jeep was lifting the halt on the SOT with Anvil so I think that may have held me up. Luckily, it's now projected to arrive 03/18 to 04/01.

My Jeep is built! Still waiting to see an ETA, but I’m excited to see progress. Mine is a loaded up Rubicon with half doors, so it went to the vendor for a couple of weeks.

Just picked my JLUR up from Peterson’s. Wow. There is a lot of new tech in this compared to my 2017 JKUR. I was also surprised that it is taller.

Mine just took 19 days from end of production to arrival at Tuttle Click in Irvine.
The tracker still shows in transit.
