2024 Order (still) Waiting Room

Anyone have experience with the estimated delivery date being pushed out multiple times? Jeep was built 6/13, with an original estimate of 6/28. Estimate then pushed to 7/10 and as of today is now 7/18. Have a note in with the dealer. Jeep is being shipped to CT.

Has it reached the “shipped” status? It would seem odd to change the estimated delivery of it’s already in transit.

Has not reached shipped status. When I checked with dealer the week back, he said he was expecting it on the 3rd. Seems like that is not the case anymore.

As we wait for our Rubicon, does anyone have an idea of shipping methods from the factory to St. Louis, about 500 miles.
I would imagine rail shipping would take longer than trucking, with the additional logistics involved. Our estimated delivery is allowing 11 days from the factory to the dealer.
My curious nature asks the questions, for reasons of course.

I’m in St. Louis and Ive ordered 3 and they have all come by truck, usually within a week from when it’s shipped

As seems to be the standard procedure, we already have parts in the garage to install once we get our Jeep home. Running boards, door edge guards, Rock Stopperz and floor mats. Nothing to outrageous. Looking forward to it all.

I went from built to shipped overnight! Just got an email saying my Jeep has been shipped. Estimate delivery is July 16th which couldn’t come soon enough! My guest room is overflowing with parts!

What are the current lead times for new orders?

About to place a new order for a Rubicon X 4xe and being quoted 4 months from order to delivery by the dealer, but looks like others are getting their orders in ~2+ months and feel like this is a tactic to lease an on the the lot model... My prior experience ordering (2021) was ~9-10 weeks from order to delivery.

Mine was ordered April 1, sat in order confirmed until May 24, then speed up and was delivered to Gupton June 17 and I took delivery June 22. I think if you ordered right now and nothung about the order was on restriction- maybe two months tops.
Question is- why not wait for a 25?

My Rubicon X was ordered on May 14 and has not moved from order confirmed yet. Dealer quoted 6-8 weeks when I ordered.

I sat in order confirmed for almost two months. But I will say this, I went into the jeep site and chatted with the help desk and let them know I was waiting for the jeep to move and they opened a ticket and escalated the concern. I also had my dealer reach out to the factory rep. After this, it was scheduled a week later. So the squeaky wheel.

Our ‘24 Rubicon, 3.6l, automatic, Earl Gray, yada yada yada, bells and whistles.
Order taken June 10. Delivered to the dealership on July 10. No unusual options beyond the color selection. We’re pretty darn happy with the process.
