Does anyone know approximately how long it takes for Mopar to update their parts/accessories catalog after new model year vehicles start being delivered?

I got my ‘24 Sport S with hardtop about a month ago, and I’ve been wanting to order a soft top for use in warmer months. I checked the parts department at my local dealer, as well as the Mopar online store a few times now, and there’s still little-to-no information on parts and accessories for the 24 MY Wranglers.

It usually takes them a couple of years.

I am not kidding.

There's potentially a way to shoehorn the data out of the Parts Counter staff. Ask for the part #s for the 2023 (or, really, any model year dating back to 2019*) and the 2024 model year soft tops. If they are identical, and you're comfortable ordering a non-2024MY top, consider doing so.

Alternately, if the MY2024 part # isn't yet available via dealer staff, reach out to Bestop for the required intel. They manufacture the OEM soft tops that are installed in Toledo. Perhaps they'd be willing to assist here.

*Avoid going back to MY2018, lest some confused dealer employee give you the part # for the JK-generation soft top in error.

It is highly unlikely that the soft top has been updated. I would think that the professional YouTube reviewers would have caught that.
I agree with Heimkehr, reach out to a Mopar parts vendor and/or Bestop for information.

Ask Bestop. They make them all. Google the Bestop part number, and the Mopar part number will probably show up somewhere on the web.
