Some good stuff in here. At least they will be offering the LED headlights and fog lights for those of us getting a Sport but don't know yet how much they will cost. But it looks like I can get LED DRL for $500 if I replace my flares. Not worth it.

I'm also confused on side steps.

The Mopar catalog lists Side Steps and Tubular Side Steps as 2 different things.

The Side Steps are the plastic thing that comes on the Sahara.

Is that the same thing that is an option on the Sport? Because it is called a "Tubular Side Step" in the order guide but then again it is called the same thing on the Sahara and has the same option code (MRK).

And are the Mopar prices for the pair?

Because I am wondering why I would pay $695 for plastic side steps when I can get aluminum tubular side steps for $445.

What excited me most is the Hemi options. It shows Chrysler knows a Hemi Jeep is sought after. Gives me hope that there may be a factory Hemi option in the semi near future.

The oversized tire carrier looks solid. Maybe this will be a decent option when I lift and do bigger tires.

    MOPAR parts and Warranty

I have never purchased MOPAR lift kits and always went aftermarket, but given the investment on the JL and the fact its brand new with a full blown warranty....how does this work with MOPAR lift kits?

Although I would much rather wait for MetalCloak to throw out a game changer for the JL, I dont want to risk voiding the warranty on the investment that quickly. If you buy a MOPAR lift, it is fully covered hassle free by your factory warranty right?

What if I put on the lift myself instead of paying a dealer a stupid amount of money for the labor? Still warranty protected?

Interesting how the catalog spends quality print to dis the aftermarket and one of the first items is the lift kit with aftermarket shocks.

I put a V8 in my 95 wrangler and would do it again in a heart beat.

I find it funny that it states the Lift is for off-road purposes only, cannot be installed by a dealership, or financed with the vehicle. All the dealerships in the Chicagoland area have JKs with molar lifts for sale brand new...
