Hi Jon, I just bought a 2024 and I'm really impressed with the changes. The display, lessening of road noise, features, and even the navigation. I am glad that I bought the 2024 but I do miss that second kidney.

The new grill gives you better airflow to prevent overheating, it's a take it or leave it update that can be changed to the pre-face lift in the after market. The screen update inside is pretty sweet, but at times can feel like an after thought (when you use the backup camera, half the screen turns to the jeep logo instead of the camera being full screen) but overall the touch screen is more responsive than the previous gen. The air vents under the new screen initially looked weird to me, but after driving a rental 2024 you don't notice and they actual perform better than the pre-2024.

The antenna in the windshield is a huge unknown at this point, Jeep windshields are notorious for cracking... now they're throwing the antenna INSIDE the windshield?! I don't know how much that increases the cost of a replacement but it can't be cheap... I haven't heard of anyone having issues with it, but if history is anything to go by... the integrated antenna might be a passing fad if the windshields perform how they have historically. (the windshield cracking issue is also the main reason I didn't get adaptive cruise control, if the windshield needs to be replaced, they also need to re-calibrate the camera system... at cost to you of course)

Hahaha! What I thought so too. But yeah, if the features are bang for the buck, why not yea?

Thanks for your input! I'm still keeping watch on other feedback on it but so far so good.

No, not yet. :D
I mean if you dont have one yet might as well get new and have a warranty for a little while. You can still get cheap Jeeps if you special order exactly what you want rather than getting hte 50k+ Sport S on dealer lots, and dont let the "need" for a Rubicon make you buy more Jeep than you realistically will ever use. The Willys is a GREAT Jeep right now and would be the way I would go if I were buying one today.

Thanks for your input, my good sir. Yes, peer pressure can make you spend more on something that is excess. I'll take note of that. Thanks again!

Don't forget about things not yet mentioned, power seats are available for 2024 as well as rear side curtain airbags which to me was a huge add as I've got two littles.

Absolutely, glad to help! Just also know that the airbags means there are way fewer sunshade options at the moment. I just ordered from hotheads as theirs works for 24s. Also, in the rear the area from the rear pillar back to the tailgate is deeper so there isn't yet a solution I've found to add an extra storage bin like the pic I attached. Minor inconveniences but still just things to know. Most parts though are directly compatible, just be sure you always double check.

Had my 24 since December. Interior is what made me want a 24 instead of the 23. Couple of things to note about that:
1 - This is my first Jeep
2 - I am a techie. The bigger screen was a plus for me

I came from a 20 Silverado that had a smaller screen. If I stuck with the Silverado, I would have gotten a refreshed 23-24 because of the screen (the 20 was a lease and was ready to be turned in). I have only been on the trails in the Jeep once but plan on doing it a little more often so I also wanted something offroad capable. About the antenna in the windshield, I have had a C6 for 18+ years. Im used to it and yes, it does cost more to replace the windshield because of it. However, how many times do you actaully do that outside of a major claim.

Overall, my JLU has been flawless sans a recall and a driverside window that is struggling to roll up.
