Hello All. My first post and first Jeep JL. I’m not new to everything automotive it’s passion of mine. I’ve seen a lot out there on GDI turbo engines and have had many port injection engines with catch cans and they have worked flawlessly. I knew when the wife wanted a convertible it wasn’t going to be a car so glad to be in the Jeep family. I decided to go with a billet technologies can and used Mishimoto’s R&D and installed it on the CCV side. Just thought I’d share so far so good no CEL. The bracket worked out well and the location I’m happy with. I’ll post a pic at the next oil change on what it collects.

Nice looking install. Just an fyi though, most of the folks who’ve stuck one on a Jeep 2.0 have reported very little stuff making it into the can. Good luck with yourJeep

It’s a universal can. I don’t think they make one specifically for our Wrangler. I made it work because I had the can already. There is a plug and play version that Mishimoto makes I believe I just didn’t like where it mounted.

I have the J & L system on my 24 Wrangler with the 2.0L It is a very simple plug & play system. I've have only had it on for about 1K miles and haven't checked it yet. The kit for the 2022 is the same as it is for the 2024. Click here to see the J&L kit for the 2.0L engine

I also have the J&L separator on my 2020 Ford Escape. The oil in the photo was accumulated in 991 miles.

Been meaning to post a pic. This on the CCV side in my catch can after 2K run. I wouldn’t want this back in my intake system….

This is a mystery I and others still wonder about: the 2.0T already has a stock oil separator. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/oil-separator-purpose.128183/ The mystery is, where does the accumulated oil go to? Is your aftermarket catch can installed upwind of the stock separator?

Correct it has a stock separator on the PCV side when the engine is not being pushed this helps catch unwanted crap. When the turbo spools and boost rises there is a CCV side that bypasses pressure. My catch can is on that side so it catches trash when in boost which this little 2.0L is almost always under some boost.

The can came from Billet Technologies and is a standard 5.7L hemi can I adapted to the 2.0L wrangler.
