Hello Everyone.. I had a Mishimoto oil catch can installed on my JL Wrangler 2.0 and after driving with it for 20k miles there is almost no oil in it. There is a light coating of oil but not enough to dump out. It is installed properly and was done professionally.
I would like to uninstall it from my jeep but I do not have the factory hose that has to be removed to install the catch can. I have tried reaching out to both Mishimoto and Jeep and they both told me they are unable and unwilling to help me figure out the part number of the hose.
I tried to do my own research as Mishimoto refers to the part as a "crankcase breather hose" and I did order a part but it ended up not fitting.. I am lost and not sure what to do. I want this part out asap as it's causing a check engine light.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

I think the part you need is this:

Make Up Air Hose

On the efficacy of the catch can. My guess is that you are probably a very efficiency oriented driver and you tend to be light on your pedals. The Mishimoto Catch can is attached to the CCV side and its only active under boost. If you aren't under boost all the time, you aren't going to be collecting much blowby.

Thank you for your reply! I ordered that part so fingers crossed that it works.
That makes sense about the efficiency. I do tend to drive pretty light day to day.
