THIS Is what is killing Jeep Cares. No information, no caring, no way forward yet the numbers make absolutely no sense.
I get the sense that "Jeep Chat" is really only there to direct people to the tracker who don't know it exists. That would be fine if the tracker provided more useful information. But it's really nothing more than an alarm clock set to go off at times we can't see, ringing as different milestones of your build are reached. So here we all are, staring at an alarm clock waiting and hoping for it to ring.

Someone should make a jeepdoesntcare twitter and then pay $8 a month to be verified and tweet everyone who is tweeting about jeep and just tweet back 'Jeep doesn't care'

is that too much?

I used to be able to get so much done through twitter. I would tweet a major corporation and they made things right. Not anymore. (I also used twitter for praise too - which got me some free swag sometimes which is pretty cool when I all I wanted to do was tell everyone how good my pizza was. LOL)

Is there a platform where we can blast jeep so maybe they will listen to us? Should I join tik-tok? Is that the platform that gets things done now? I don't know anything about tik-tok. Please tell me tik-tok isn't the answer.

I also want to know why there are SO MANY 2 door jeeps on dealer's lots waiting to be sold when they could have built mine and I could be rolling around town in my jeep inspiring others to buy a jeep.

I never want to go through this process again. It sucks. my 2020 jeep buying experience was amazing. (in the fall of 2019 so it was pre-pandemic and before they became stellantis)

As of today, it’s been 99 days since I placed my order; 57 since I got my vin (which is exactly 6 weeks after I made my order).

I currently have an estimated ship date of December 2, but I know Jeep well enough by now to be skeptical of it. I’ll be bugging my guy for more regular updates as the time grows closer to that date.

Just did some napkin math, and if my est. ship date stays true, it will make it 123 days from Order to Built status. I have a feeling though I will easily hit 150 days somehow before I can take delivery.

Edit: I wanna add that as much as I complain, I knew I would be in for a long wait, as my order is a Canadian order and domestic orders are prioritized over foreign orders for whatever reason.
How did you get your VIN. I still don't have that and it's been 6.5months. I was advised that I have to change the colour as in Canada only Silver, Grey, Black and White are now available. So, I changed from Blue to White. Can't believe I wanted Snazberry (ot available anymore), then Yellow (not available anymore), then Blue (not available anyone) and now White. Yet in the US all of these but the Snazberry are available. I guess Canada is a 4th world country to Stellantis. Really strange when they are all built in Toledo and why colour availability varies by country of order.

The pigment they use for the While includes trace amounts of maple syrup... that's why it's the only color you can get in Canada... :)

Uhhh, that’s interesting. I haven’t heard any such thing. As for my ordering, I ordered Aug 2, and have an Earl Jeep on the way (someday). I got my VIN from my dealer, 6 weeks after I placed my order. I also bugged my guy a little bit for it to ask if anything had changed or was different.

As for the colour thing.... I smell BS a little bit here. Colour almost never has an affect on the order unless it is from a limited run colour. Where are you located at? I’m guessing Ontario?

Z4 but next is a Jeep, had a 94 in college
Yeah that sounds like a great road trip to break in the Jeep. When I had a delivery date of 11/11 I was planning to fly up to pick mine up from 11/18-11/21 and then drive back. Glad I didn’t book it as I really don’t have much confidence at this point until the dealer sends me a pic of it I’m their shop.
And today it emails me that it was both shipped and delivered, waiting for the dealer to confirm. Thanks for the accurate tracking Jeep so I can do some damn planning to pick up the thing.

Yeah, but if it's gonna screw up, it's better to screw up with you getting your Jeep sooner rather than later. I hope it checks out.

My dealer both emailed me and responded to someone else in the thread for our dealership orders (Lakeland Dodge) and said that Chrysler has a supply issue with safety, advanced safety, and xtreme recon packages and that’s what’s causing the delay on some builds.

It feels like I’ve seen folks with those packages come and go, and I haven’t even been waiting as long as many of you. I’ve had to try and stay away from the forums to keep my first Jeep excitement. I’m still excited! It’s just tough to keep the Jeep anticipation high when I watch a tracker that doesn’t move.:movember: :crying:

I would be fine if they told me that but they won’t come out and say that to me is what is making me mad. My dealer is saying that it’s in the build and we should have it soon but the tracker and jeep chat are saying it’s only confirmed. Which is it? ??

Trust what your dealer says over the tracker. They have much more detailed & up to date information. If anything I think the tracker was made to get people to bother their dealers less.

Don't get me wrong, the sudden acceleration in my order is fantastic... but we've had unseasonably warm temps in the 70s and 80s for weeks and weeks... And now that the Jeep looks like it might actually arrive:

That's what happened with my '21 Hella. Ordered in June. July temps were awesome as were August, September and Octobers. When it finally arrived in November, the temps sucked, I was worn down, cold, pissed off and didn't give AF of I got it or not. Never got to go completely topless before I sold it in February.

My December ordered '22 Hydro arrived in mid-April so that timing was perfect, weather wise.
