Emailed the dealer this morning since today was supposed to be the (delayed from October) new build date for the Jeep and find out... low and behold... I am officially In Production as of yesterday (F - in paint as of this morning). Tracker shows mid December for possible arrival... assuming no strike or train derailments...

I got scheduled the same day as you and regressed around the same time. My dealer is still showing a build date of 10/14 though, so IDK what to expect anymore.

Its definitely not anything holding up my order because everything I've ordered has gone into production in the last few days.

I guess I was the unlucky one who didn't make the cut for the parts they do have available. No doubt I'll be seeing more 2 doors on dealers lots soon, because it seems that is what jeep is doing. Fuck the people with the sold orders. I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing this so we will continued get fucked by the interest rates. Let me go get my tin foil hat on. ?

I know I’m a step past most of you because mine is at the dealership but I really need to vent about how slow this dealer is to get one freaking form that I need for the bank so I can get a check to pick up my Jeep.

Picking her up tomorrow.
Spent 3 hours there yesterday trying to explain to the finance manager that since he couldn’t beat the rate we got we weren’t going to fill out a credit app. The best he could do was about 3/4 of a point higher and actually said if we went 77 months we’d have the same payment our bank gave us (at 72 months). I asked him if he thought I was an idiot because I’m female. And then reminded him that I worked in auto finance for 20 years pre kids.
I love our salesman, he’s great.

I was anticipating picking up the Jeep on Monday, but I received a call today stating the front bumper had a dent from transit, I could accept it as it is and take it today or they can replace the bumper which is estimated for the repair to be completed in 2 weeks. I chose to have a new bumper since this is the most expensive vehicle I have ever owned. I hope the bumper replacement is not going to take two weeks.

Do you get to drive it in the meantime, or are they keeping it for two weeks? That would make a difference for me.

They are holding it for the two weeks. I asked to take it home and come back for the bumper swap out, but they said I could not do that. They would only release it if I agreed to take it dented or let them fix it. I had a similar problem with my wife's truck we bought last year the rear bumper was dented all over. They allowed me to take the vehicle and return it when the new bumper came in. Jeep said they will not do that. It plays with your emotions not taking it home.

Aw, man that sucks. Seems like you/they should be able to stipulate that the bumper, and only the bumper, is the issue and let you bring it back once the new one comes in. Yeah, I'd want my new ride to be dent free too, though, even if that meant two more weeks.
