Got a call from the dealership yesterday that my Jeep was on the lot. All of the trackers still show it in production. But we’re out of town for a week. Rats!

I like that, I would have bought hella yella if available, saw the high velocity on some modified 4 door rubicons and thought it looked good on them, but was unsure it would look good on a stock 2 door sport- I ordered the base sport - so I ordered white thinking high velocity would only look good on something built up. Yours looks great and seeing it on a 2 door sport makes me think I should have gone with high velocity.

Its been 10 days since I've emailed my dealer for a status update and so I emailed them this morning. I couldn't hold off any longer.

13 weeks since I've ordered.

Also, I've been on jeep's car finder on their website and there are SO MANY dealerships within a 300 mile radius of me that have in 2 door rubicons. One of them is close to my build with the exception of the top and fender flares. (I did not get color matched)

Really cute of jeep to fulfill lot orders before sold orders.

There were literally dozens of 2 door jeeps listed as in stock. A few others being built or in transit but a lot of in stock.

Infuriating.

Meanwhile I'm putting so many freaking miles on my 2020 and my trade in value for the mustang plummeted.

Thanks! I like bright or different colors, but not metallic/pearl, so High Velocity really stood out to me. If I had ordered a year ago, I probably would have gone with Gecko Green.

So I was looking at how long it's been since I ordered and how long since I got my VIN, and I realized that it's a total of 12 weeks, 6 weeks from VON to VIN & 6 weeks from VIN till now. Maybe I'll see movement this week? Maybe even get an estimated build date? I'll be happy even if that date isn't until January.

Congrats - I love that High Velocity Green, I went with White. I received some good news today from my dealer that my Jeep has an ETA for delivery 11/12. I double checked via the website, and they have the same details. Seems fast:

I agree with you on bright colors for a Jeep, but I’m not into the metallic either - though I do really feel I missed out on Bikini. I also really liked Gecko but missed out on that one too, mojito was not my thing though. Red isn’t my thing so I stuck to white as my TJ was white, and when clean it’s still bright.
Not sure what my hang up was on High Velocity, maybe since I was pretty set on Hella Yella just to realize it was gone and this new color was replacing it for yellow, but now I kind of feel I missed out. Of course I’m still in D with my order, but don’t want to start back again either.

Congratulations!!!

I've had dealers tell me that the Jeep tracker is not accurate, and that they're surprised when a car just shows up on the lot. The tracker system isn't fully automated; it requires a human element. Jeep, apparently, doesn't have enough people to properly utilize the tracker for update purposes. Not sure if this is true or not, just what I've been told.

Honestly, I wish I didn't hear that because I'm hopefully optimistic, and at the same time, realistic that I may have to wait several more months for mine. Ugh!!

Fingers still crossed that I get a similar, unexpected call...that we all get a similar call. Good luck, all!
So hope for my vehicle that's been in production for over 30 days

It seems that 4xe orders are getting processed crazy fast (arrived at the dealer end of last week).

Rumor is they're trying to get them done to take advantage of the tax credit before rules change in '23... just a rumor, though.

Would make a lot of sense for them to do so. That $7500 rebate makes the 4xe much more enticing since the cost ends up only around 3k more than a regular 4d Rubicon and if you do lots of short range driving on electric you'll make up that difference over time and then some.

Facts on facts on facts. From the dealer orders to the trade in value. It is insane that manufacturers, including Jeep, can't take all of these things into consideration. I ordered my 2023 ON THE DAY Jeep allowed 2023 orders, which is the same portal and process as dealers. Makes no sense at all!!! Good luck to you, man!

Yep!! AND Jeep is building and listing the new built 4xes as 2022s. I think this week is the first time they started listing them as 2023s, which gives them an additional mark up, and they will try to build as many 2023s as they can before the new year.

Which, with all the supply chain issues and 4xe delays, makes sense. Jeep just needs to make an official statement on all of this stuff so message boards like this don't exist. At the end of the day, it's all about transparency and customer service.

Same here… If I didn’t want half doors so bad I probably would have found something close enough by now.

That’s insane - one month order to delivery?! You know you’re in the venting thread of people who are many months in right ???

Agreed. When rates were low and trade-in values were high I think folks are more likely to put up with the utter lack of communication. As rates go up and value goes down it becomes more of a buyers market... even for Jeep.

The pizza tracker still occasionally shows my Jeep with the fuchsia wheels, ffs... :)
