For 4XE builds it seems pretty fast and it sounds like the reason is due in part to the current rebate possibly not being available for purchases in 2023 so they're trying to get as many into buyers' hands before the end of the year. My order at the end of September was delivered mid-October...
Would make a lot of sense for them to do so. That $7500 rebate makes the 4xe much more enticing since the cost ends up only around 3k more than a regular 4d Rubicon and if you do lots of short range driving on electric you'll make up that difference over time and then some.
Dealer finally got an update with my VON (and VIN). It looks like the vehicle was scheduled back at the end of September and not just today when they got the info from the factory so that's good. Here's hoping it gets into production soon since it seems like 4xe orders posted by others here...
My dealer still hasn't received a VON for my order(also a 4xe) they were told was confirmed last week. Though I'm fine not getting a VON quickly if it's because they factory's laser-focused on building them asap.
Yeah even when I get the VON I'm sure I'll be checking it constantly when I should just ignore it until the dealer tells me they have it and we can finish the process. Ordered a 4xe and it sounds like those are going through production pretty quickly at least.
If it's already built then the package must be included in it if it was in the order. Jeep might've just broke it when updating the website. Kinda like how they list the remote starter as its own thing for 2023s but if you select it the site says you have to get the cold weather package, or...
Damn that's worrying. I ordered from a dealership a few hours away so we did things via phone and email but it at least included a price protection confirmation via email. Did your dealership have any info or advice regarding your wait for a VIN? Looking at the posts others made about their...
Man this sounds like hell. And here I'm feeling impatient because it took several days for the dealer to get confirmation the order was accepted (this past Friday).
We're still waiting on a VON for said order, which makes me wonder how hectic things are there.
After the $7500 rebate (shame we didn't get the $12500 rebate the BBB plan would've given) it's around $3000 more and if someone's using a 4xe for a lot of daily driving, especially short range, it's going to make up for that in saved gas money in a few years.
Though I suspect that if the BBB...
That's a relief then. Since they told me earlier in the week that they'd submitted the order back on Monday I don't expect any "oh the price went up" shenanigans based on the Tuesday bump.
And this goes by when the order was submitted, not confirmed, right? My order was submitted on Monday and the dealer contacted me this morning saying they finally got confirmation. Still waiting on VON but I'm hoping this means I avoided the price increase.
Got an update from my dealer today that they got confirmation the order was accepted. They're just waiting on a VON to send to me now. Though I'd have though Jeep would send that as part of the confirmation, right?
If my order placed on Monday shows a higher price due to the Tuesday increase I guess I'll just have to push on the price they quoted me when I wired the deposit, which they also sent me a picture copy of via email from the week prior. From reading around it sounds like if they submitted the...
Called the dealer and apparently the order was put in on Monday with several others and they haven't gotten confirmation it was accepted yet so they don't have a VON. They're expecting to get confirmation this week but I'd have expected these orders dealers submit go into an automated system...
