I'm totally on the fence as to cancelling my order.
I ordered a manual and I'm not confident the fix is going to be a true solution.

I don't want to get to the 40K mark and have my clutch blow up.

So, after 8 months wait, I finally got my jeep! But, to add insult to the super long build process injury (what can go wrong will go wrong) -- a rock cracked the windshield while the dealer's runners were driving it here to drop off. I had checked it out this weekend and it was fine, but they still had to detail it and I had to do the payment and paperwork so I couldn't bring it home then. We'll see how this plays out... technically I own it and it's on my insurance so I have no idea what to expect

For those who have had to replace a front windshield - how long does that process take, and anything I should know? Will there be a delay on how soon I can drive it after it's done?

UGH. I had just about decided to have mine delivered (it arrived at the dealer this morning) but this is one of my fears.

Is it normal to be in production long? I am at 24 days.

Not normal but it happens. My build was In Production 45 days before going built.

Had a dream I was in a multi-level glass-walled dealership. Salesguy handed me the keys to a shiny new ... Dodge Charger!?!?!? Said they already sold my ordered Jeep to someone else, and insisted this was a better vehicle.
(Then other dream stuff happened.)

If you don't have lane departure, adaptive cruise etc. replacing a windshield is quick and easy. I have had Safelite come to my house to do replacements in my driveway . If you have the advanced features they will need to do a recalibration of the camera/sensor and that will make it a longer process.

Waiting for a ?? I ordered my Jeep on 1/5. I was notified that on 2/17 my Jeep was staged for transport, with a scheduled ship date of 3/7. Called the dealer the other day and it's at a Jeep storage area awaiting a train. Original date for delivery was 3/29 now appears to be mid-April. Seems like a long time to be waiting for a train. Any others with a similar experience?

BTW, shipping from Toledo to Atlanta.

Mine was built on 2/20 and had to wait for a train to Louisiana. It got to the rail yard on 3/20 and then to the dealer by train on 3/24.

I was stuck in a Greyhound station for an unreasonable amount of time. And a few airports. It's boring. Your Wrangler is going to be burning through those game snacks. I hope it has some good books to read, too.

Earlier than a lot of 392 orders, including mine…..about the only saving grace is the price has gone up 3 times since I ordered…..and God knows (or maybe he/she doesn’t) the pricing will go up big on the ‘24.
