Not even scheduled yet:

When you hit month six Jeep will send you a nice care package with a Jeep Brand hat, T-shirt and hoodie. Unfortunately my care package was rescheduled and I have yet to recieve it. I've called my dealer multiple times without getting a good explaination other than it has something to do with a supply chain issue.

How long is normal to be 'in production'? I've seen people with similar builds get built in one day. I'm currently at 9 days (and 6 months wait to be scheduled) so I'm getting antsy.
Have you reached out to your dealer yet to find out where you are in the process?

The biggest difference between our orders is the half doors - would they really hold yours up that much?

Sending good jeep vibes your way!

Mine spent about a month “in production” with the half doors. Seems most everyone else with half doors spent about the same amount of time.
They have to key the doors to your Jeep at the body shop before they load them up, I guess that takes a while?

Sounds like I'm built, and waiting on inspection. hopefully then this is a quick change to the next status. I don't know though, I'm pessimistic as hell at this point, everything is taking so much longer for mine than most orders here. 11 days in built... 6 months waiting to build, 7 months in theory from order to delivery...

I'm probably preaching to the choir, but just in case:

They kind of are, I mean, they keep increasing the prices every month of the trims and options, so you feel like you get a deal by the end if it's price locked. I don't know about you, but I think my options have gone up several thousand since my order date... I sure hope i'm price locked...

The economy is really, really weird right now.

First, I tell people I'm getting a Jeep and they're like "I didn't know you were rich" - even though I'm buying near the bottom of the available models. Evidently, they're thought to be expensive vehicles, which may be true, if you consider a Wrangler a toy and not a daily driver.

Second, I've started hording stuff (buying lots of non-perishables) and stashing them because it is like putting money in the bank. If I have 150 roles of toliet paper and the apocalypse does not come it is still a win because that stuff isn't going to go down in price, so I'll still be money ahead.

I'm not sure what to think of people, who upon being faced with the end of the world, immediately worry about the supply of toilet paper, but I digress. (Oh look, arch-angels are battling demons in downtown Minneapolis... how are we set for TP?)

I'm not accustomed to buying stuff as a hedge against inflation, but like you commented the prices keep going up, even though my build is a $35,000 spec is it going to be $40,000 in 6 months?

I came in here a month or so ago and said I'd come back once I've been waiting at least 3 months. :P
Welcome back.
We'll be the old timers soon enough.

BaconKittens got her Jeep so she's being polite, but she has one foot out the door.

I'm pretty sure she's just here to cheerlead me from the sidelines. Us "lady jeepers with nearly the same build who both waited 6+months" gotta stick together. It's an exclusive club.

I'm totally supportive.
