2023 Sahara Changes

Was looking at the 2023 Wranglers on the Jeep site - when going to build them both the Sarah and the 4xe are pictured without side steps? Is that correct that the 2023 models will no have any side step at all? Thanks!

When I placed my 2023 Sahara 4xe order, the build sheet had a separate charge of approximately $90 for the basic side steps. Didn't make much sense at the time until I saw the 2023 pictures. So the short answer is you can get them, but they cost a little extra.

When i built my 23 Sahara Altitude (ecodiesel), I had to add the side steps for the order to flow through.

According to the 2023 builder:

1. Sahara Altitude is gone
2. The Sahara side steps are gone
3. The "standard" engine is now the 2.0T; the V6 remains optional --albeit it cannot be selected
4. The 6-speed manual is gone, and the automatic is now a $3,750 mandatory option
5. The tan premium soft top is gone

If you ask me, half of these "changes" are just glitches.

Supply chain issues are making standard options non-existent. Side steps are now an option. And, it looks like the standard plastic Sahara steps are no longer available.
