My email from Specialist Jeff was several weeks back. He has not responded to subsequent emails (sent one on Monday, another one 24 hours ago). When I reach out to chat, they tell me Jeff will get in touch with me and don't give any additional information. I ordered a Sport MT 2 door on 1/27, rumor has been that manual production restarted the week of April 15th. I just want an updated estimate on when mine will be made.

Jeep Chat still only tells me what I can see in the Tracker, to look at the tracker, and to ask my dealer. I don't know how other people are getting more details from them!



Earlier this month, my dealer said he expected the 20th, but now I'm wondering if it was a typo for the 29th. I'm still hoping to hear from him soon. I'm ready to drive! (I'm not going to keep emailing him. I'm pretty sure he'll want me to come get it as soon as I can, so he'll let me know.)

I will definitely be taking some pics for you -- although if mine is stalled, maybe we'll be there at the same time!
The Baltimore airport is pretty cool, if I'm remembering correctly. It seems like there might be a market or big food court, or something like that. So if you have to wait for a shuttle, there'll be something to do. (Although when I'm in an airport, I usually don't want to linger -- and if my new Jeep was out there waiting for me, I definitely wouldn't want to hang around it! lol)

I agree I’m trying to get in and out as quick as possible. We have about an hour layover in Atlanta which I’m pretty sure my brother chose because of chick-fil-a. But should get to Baltimore early afternoon. Hope to have everything signed and ready to go before we get there so can get in and out of the dealer in under an hour so I can start modding it in the hotel parking lot?.
I’ve never been to the area before so it should be interesting to see everything there.

Lol should be able to I believe we are staying in dc somewhere but we are going to be in the area from Wednesday to Friday before leaving some time Friday to come to Pittsburgh. Do plan to go to the air and space museum. Plus we are going to look at the some of the areas my brother is looking at schools in the Baltimore area so want to see how the living situation is out there and prices.
Plus we might end up making that area home after he gets out of medical school.

Usually, the Arrival Date for In Production is the date it begins being built and would be 2-3 days after till you hit KZ Built status. Bing that 4/22 is a Saturday, expect an update Wednesday - Thursday. I wouldnt reach out to the dealer again until you move to Shipped. At that point, the dealer has access to shipping tracking and can tell you where it is at.

My wife and I picked up my Jeep this morning. I gave the dealer a down payment, then this afternoon I got the loan funded at my credit union and took a check back to the dealer to get them paid. Monday morning I have an appointment at AAA to add this to my insurance. Tomorrow may be a trip to the Carrizo Plain National Monument. According to a friend who went about a week ago, there are LOTS of wildflowers.

The adventure begins.

We finally decided to do the trip to Carrizo. We were still mulling over several other options, like the Poppy Reserve, central coast, Monterey Bay, etc. Or doing yard work. So many choices.

Usually, my first choice is Yosemite, but my wife and oldest daughter went last week and I plan to go week after next to shoot Yosemite Falls moonbows.
