I’m in the same boat but I put my order in on 3/3. I hope they move it to a MY24 but doubt it. But then again I order Punk’n and it’s not available anymore.

Ya, got ahold of jeep cares and they confirmed it just sitting in non-confirmed status awaiting scheduling. No explanation of why its sitting like that when most get confirmed almost right away. It's not like I ordered something real special like a 20A 392 or something. For yours I think you might have to go above your salesperson if they aren't getting back with you and they have no record of the order.

Did you get a POC with your order? Well a final POC not pending order. I'm wondering if you ordered on the 3.13 with them but they didn't actually try to put in the order until the next day and BAM, couldn't order a MY23.

I guess this is more of a vent than anything but does end in a question.

I have not received 1 update from my dealer since purchase. My only updates have been via direct jeep emails and now tracker emails. When i went into D status i called my sales person and requested a POC as suggested at the beginning of this thread.. and was told he had never heard of that, but assured me that the price we agreed upon would stand. I think when i told him it was a priced ordered confirmation he thought that was my concern. I reached out to jeep chat, and after approval was able to get one from them for my records. When i went to D1 on 3/2 I said i would test my patience and wait 3- 4 weeks to hear something from jeep before i reached out to the dealer, knowing per info here that with D1 they should have an estimated delivery date (actually transalate to prod date give or take 48hrs).

After my 4M4 tracker email today I reached out to the dealership, bypassing my salesperson, and requested a manager that could verify my order status. The person i was tranferred to told me checking status was not a problem, and that the system is showing that I am still in D1. I asked him if i was in D1, could he give me any estimate dates associated. He said there are none and wont be for a few months. ? assured me that at about the 3 month mark things will move fast. Basically telling me there is no reason for me to reach out until we hit 12 weeks.

I was originally going to order with Mark Dodge dealership 2 more hours out, bc of the beloww msrp offer that i thought could not be beat. I went to a local dealership my friend bought her jeep from to see and touch my options before finalizing the order. In the process the local saleman offered to match mark dodges price if i ordered with them. I did. Im kinda regretting it now in hindsight. I feel like Mark dodge as a dealership makes enough custom orders and internet sales that they prob handle updates and communication in a more professional manner.

I absolutely know this is a waiting game and that any info provided is subject to change.. i just want to be kept in the loop with out being treated like it is a problem.

Are most of you here being kept up to date from the dealership with status changes and estimate dates or am i wrong in my expectations?

My order IS with Mark Dodge, and I was in radio silence for about 4 months during which I reached out once. But not their fault, until you get to a certain point it serves no purpose. As you can imagine, once I got to D1 the communication ramped up on both sides.

Did you know that they will hand deliver your Jeep free for up to 250 miles? I’m in Houston 181 miles away (I’m going to go collect it because I have a trade……and well gambling, after I get done with them that Jeep will be free).

I've gone back and forth on delivery. I don't live within 250 miles (more like 350), but my sister lives in New Orleans and has a house on the MS coast - both are on my way to Lake Charles and within the 250 mile radius. I've been considering having them deliver to one of those places but the free delivery is driven, not trailered, and I don't really want someone else putting the first 250 miles on it. ??‍ I'm not trading in - paying mostly cash with a little bit financed - so no need to drive all the way there otherwise. It literally may come down to what the weather is looking like when it's time to go.

YES!! I was very impressed with their overall process, not to mention the below MSRP pricing! How ever i was not going take advantage of that offer either way for the same reasoning as @AndiS mentioned- did not like the idea of someone else putting the break in mileage on FiRST BRAND NeW vehicle! Thats my job. ?

In my case... I'm at 6+ months. That amount of time is an outlier from what I've seen on the forums.

And if the latest update holds true, I'll be at 7+ months. Dealer rep said today that the ESD for the Sahara I ordered has been pushed back a fourth time - this time a month, to 4/21. He didn't know why, said that he's seen all the options I ordered produced in all trims with a variety of configurations, and that he couldn't find out why. Jeep Chat doesn't know any more than the rep. [Update: Jeep Chat ("Customer Care") will contact the dealership sales manager directly tomorrow in lieu of the rep to see if there's any more to be found out.]

The wait continues.

It seems that ordering with STLA is a crapshoot. My TRX order sat in D for almost five months. Our 392 order sat in D for a week. I've read stories from one extreme to the other, without any real rhyme nor reason.

Good news, not so good news. Did my weekly dealer check in, and I’m back to D1 after being regressed to D. But the “estimated ship date” has been pushed back to 4-5-23 from 3-25-2023. The first update was 3-24-2023.
