2-Door Sport MT - No options
When it went D1, my estimated in prod date was 4/5, so it was close.
I have a build sheet today, so I should have a WS soon.
Ours did the same thing. Built 3/28. Shipped 3/29 (with WS). The estimated delivery date went from 4/11, to 4/3, and is now TBD.
In the TRX forum, this usually means that it's "almost" delivered. Hoping that's the case here.
In production on 3/24
Build complete on 3/28
KZM and WS on 3/29
We appreciate getting it so quick, but we were kinda planning on the 3-6 month schedule.
Delivery estimate went from 4/11 to 4/3. Not sure how realistic that is. It's going to Granger in IA, but I don't know what a normal ship...
It seems that ordering with STLA is a crapshoot. My TRX order sat in D for almost five months. Our 392 order sat in D for a week. I've read stories from one extreme to the other, without any real rhyme nor reason.
Our 392 SOT was ordered 3/7. No half doors, but we were D on 3/8, then D1 on 3/17. Our 2 STLA orders were both D the day after submitting the order. Both from Granger, but over 4 months apart.
You can reach out to your dealer. Ours went D1 on 3/17. This morning, dealer shared the estimated build date is 3/27. Expected to show up on the lot 4 weeks later. Granted, this is all estimates and is subject to delays, but it is tentatively scheduled to start being built 10 days after...
I know it's been over 2 months, but I just checked for the wiring in my JL Sport. Like you, mine is the barest of bones. Only option is AC. I do not have a lighted vanity mirror, so there is not even a plug for the visor. There is a harness that runs over to the airbag cluster above the...
I've got P285/70R17 Falken Wildpeaks on 9" wheels. At its widest point, the sidewall sticks out about 1.5 inches from the wheel lip on my 2dr sport at 31psi. Seems like a 275 on a 9.5 would be a little narrow, but, I'm a tire noob.
Sales manager just called. This time he said "parts", which was more in line with what I've read here. Says recall work has been completed. Picking up my new JL in a couple of hours. Having only a handful of miles on it, I'm sure they didn't even bother examining the clutch.
Well, sales manager called this morning to tell me that they got "a part" for the recall. He's waiting to check with his service manager to make sure that they have everything they need. Not much news, but at least there is movement. I'll post up if I can get specific info.
