I decided to see if my build went up recently, so I went to price a 2023 Rubicon and I noticed this new option. Black Vinyl Floor Covering. I have never seen that as an options before. And at almost $1000.00. Is that an Armorlite type thing???

I believe that option became available at the end of October or start of November. To this day there is zero information about the new flooring out there. I added it on my build even though I know it’s not worth the cost, I just didn’t want to go through the hassle of adding armorlite myself. Hoping someone takes delivery soon and posts some photos as Jeep doesn’t seem to care to market this option although it’s easy money for them.

When should I ask my salesman about the von to use the tracker? He said he’d contact me when we had a vin, should I wait until then or in a day or two ask him?

Still waiting on the trucking company to transport my jeep from the rail yard to the dealership for its final leg of the trip. It's about a 4-ish hour drive tops, and I was told that there is a chance that maybe, possibly, perchance my jeep *might* arrive tomorrow....... I have my phone charged, ringer on high, & glued to my side on the off chance I get a phone call letting me know that it is being loaded/in transport....... I'm really trying not to get my hopes up (because jeeps and their delays....), but it's really hard not to.....

Edit: Ordered Aug 02. Feb 2 will mark exactly 6 months since I ordered.....

I am sure it is incredibly easy to install the flooring before anything else is put inside the body of the Jeep. Nothing to remove to install it. It definately seems like an money making option. But like you said, it is a pain to do it after the fact.

I booked a plane for next Saturday, If it was spring, I would make a week long vacation out of it but I will fly down, and drive back 700 miles.

For a grand that should be some kind of hybrid bulletproof kevlar. I love Jeep but but the adds are getting out of control. It wasn't that long ago that carpet was an upcharge from vinyl for a work truck??
