Questioned Jeep Chat previously but not found much help with them. They refer me to the Pizza Tracker. Have not checked with dealer in a couple of weeks, but they tell me ”waiting to be scheduled.”. Will follow up with dealership this week.

I’d suggest to find out from the dealer why your order hasn’t progressed. (Talk with the person that actually manages their orders.) I would assume there are communications indicating material shortages for selected options. At least you’d know WHY you are waiting for the build. Or you may elect to adjust your option selections so the Jeep can be queued for assembly.

I finally picked mine up 119 days after ordering. Here is my timeline:

Options: Manual, hard top, cloth seats, tow package, LED, 4.88.

I do have a VIN from contacting my dealership and inquiring.

I'm glad. If you didn't I would say they screwed up your order and just didn't want to own up to it. Yeah, if you have a VIN your dealership should be able give you some reason for why there's been so little movement. I know 392s are notoriously slow to build, but Jeebus that's ridiculous.

Thanks @Opus. I have e-mailed my dealership/salesperson with some very “direct” questions. I have tried to be patient with supply chain issues, etc but this getting ridiculous. I will report back what i hear.

I read through this entire thread, and I truly do not understand it. The MY23 banks opened back in June. The 392 was able to be ordered as a MY23 back in June (with the XR package) and has been able to be ordered since then (with the XR package). Other than the vinyl floors and possible return of Punk'n (which Jeep's own advertisements have mentioned will return only on the 4Xe), I don't see what all the hooplah in that thread is about.

That is what the ad run by Jeep on Instagram at the end of October stated. They also made a post about it on Facebook, with slightly different wording than the ad, but it still called out the 4Xe specifically…

I am just reporting on what Jeep ran in their ads and what they posted on social media. Beyond doing that, I don’t really give a shit what models it’s offered on, because while it’s a good looking color, I have no intention of ever ordering an orange Jeep, because Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn. If you’re still not following along… Go Dawgs.
