I tried to get more info from my dealer a few days ago after being in D1 for a few weeks. Crickets ?

Moral of the story: I should've just stuck with my previous mindset of hoping to get it before Halloween and just stop using all the trackers ?

Today is day 25 of D1 over here! I’ve stopped checking the trackers really. I just come here and read about how many of us are still in D1 together ?

I see Reign orders seem to be held up.. What about High velocity? Anyone ordered that and gotten theirs yet? Or are you still in limbo like me?.. I ordered High Velocity

Haha yes!! They told me 4 months so why was I over here stressing daily on a tracker?! Especially one that’s not even accurate! ?

I have a question. For people getting 5%+ under dealer invoice, does that mean the you are paying less than the dealer paid and they are losing money? And if that’s the case, why would they offer that?
My job has an affiliate program I get for 1% below dealer invoice so that’s cool and my dealer isn’t marking the order up any so that’s also cool. I’m sure some of you will tell me I could pay less and haggle but I know not how this works. So explain please ?

I've had a few busy days but been wanting to hop in here. I ordered July 21st and have been hanging out in D1 status for quite some time. BUT on September 7th I got an update from my salesperson that I have an estimated ship date of the 30th. The Jeep tracker just shows that I'm now in the production schedule.

I'm in the same boat ordered 7/21 went into production 9/2 , est delivery late middle to end of Sept, hope so!

You know my dealer just told me… I have been hounding them they finally responded and said, the reigns are being built quicker than the other ones and I could have it but the end of the month…

do we believe him?! I do not ? but let see shall we.

I made that assumption on my own hoping that my Jeep would be ready when I get home in October. There's no way to know that for sure obviously but it seemed logical at the time. I ordered a Hydro Blue in April but the company wasn't taking orders for 22s anymore. They submitted my order for an MY23 on July 4 and Jeep accepted the order on July 7th. When Reign announced my wife liked it enough that I changed the color of the Jeep back in August. Fingers crossed it'll be ready by Oct 14th.

High Velocity here. Ordered & confirmed 7/8 and no movement at all.

I did my first factory order in 1997. Before trackers and the internet. The dealer told me he'd call me when it came in and that's what happened. Order it and forget about it. It's much easier than obsessing, calling, and refreshing all day long. It will get there when it gets there.

Stellantis sells almost 2M vehicles in the US per year, updating one person about the status of their order is pretty far down on their list of things to do.

Not 100% sure if it's dealer holdbacks, bonus pricing or other incentives from Jeep, but I guarantee you that no dealership is gonna lose any money or sell a vehicle without some form of profit.

FCA affiliate pricing should get you 1% below invoice pricing (FWP/wholesale on the build sheet), but not all dealerships will honor this (though a lot do). Joining the Tread Lightly program at the $100 membership level will get you 2 FCA affiliate control numbers for the year. Some dealers that are sponsors here or listed in @Ratbert 's list usually offer around 5% under invoice (sometimes with an extra 1% for affiliate and/or 1% if financing through them), which usually works out to around 10% off MSRP for this year.

You can try finding a local dealer that will honor the 1% FCA pricing and then try to haggle toward 5%, but I had no luck at all trying that in my region.

I’m seriously about to pull the plug… I can’t believe there is zero communication from Jeep or my dealer about when the heck they are going to start building my Jeep… maybe I need to scrap the reign and order a sting gray. Then I could have it in 4 weeks like most other people on here smh

I ordered a stingray the day before you and it just went “in production“ on the 6th.

They started building mine on the 6th, according to all the trackers anywa.y.
