Is it wrong to hope the jeep vehicle order tracker site goes down for an extended period ...... indicating they are updating.....the sooner the better
Morally, no. Technically, yes. I say that because if the site is going down to update, it would be an update of their web site software to like add a new feature or fix a bug. The data on all of our builds is stored separately and can be getting updated anytime without needing to take the website offline. So no outage needed for your build to hopefully make progress soon!

You know my dealer just told me… I have been hounding them they finally responded and said, the reigns are being built quicker than the other ones and I could have it but the end of the month…

do we believe him?! I do not ? but let see shall we.
Sounds like some BS to me just to get you to leave them alone. Their computer will show exact info about your order that they could easily pass on to you.

Reigns already in D1 are scheduled for 9-15 through 9-19. I'd be surprised if we see them by mid October. They aren't being built quicker than any others.

Curious that the "changes" box shows the last change was today.

Try inputting your info into JeepOnOrder and see what it says. It seems to be pulling info quicker for me than JeepTracker
Nothing changed on that one, or the other two... My dealer says it has a "ship" date on 9/29. More than likely it is the build date.

It was 6 days early from my est build/ship when I first got scheduled, the date I had on my POC was 9/14
NICE and Congrats. Mine got pushed from 9/9 to 9/21 just praying it is sooner and this gives me hope.

I did my first factory order in 1997. Before trackers and the internet. The dealer told me he'd call me when it came in and that's what happened. Order it and forget about it. It's much easier than obsessing, calling, and refreshing all day long. It will get there when it gets there.

Stellantis sells almost 2M vehicles in the US per year, updating one person about the status of their order is pretty far down on their list of things to do.
This is why I don’t ask my dealer for updates… not that I don’t want them… but there were over 100 orders before I ordered mine so I just think what if we were ALL asking for updates regularly? Not even considering how many more people ordered after that! I wasn’t given any specific dates… just a mid-October expected arrival. So now I just have to wait for the call.

And that’s so odd too because you ordered Aug 12th right? I ordered July 14th! And you have the floor mats so that can’t be holding mine up. And you have tow package as well so that can’t be it. I mean I’m just turbo engine too and your diesel? So I am so very curious why mine isn’t scheduled… I am hopeful to get some movement by the end of next week though. My thought is if the first few are scheduled for next week maybe the rest of us will start to see some movement at that time.

I tried to get more info from my dealer a few days ago after being in D1 for a few weeks. Crickets ?

Moral of the story: I should've just stuck with my previous mindset of hoping to get it before Halloween and just stop using all the trackers ?

I was totally thinking I’d have mine by December when it was ordered in July and I was totally ok with that. I have two issues since then, 1. People ordered much after me and are scheduled which drives me crazy but the worst part is, I am going to give my car to my daughter and sell her car for a couple hundred because it is a piece of junk but I thought ok it’ll hold up until December and we can get rid of it but man these last two weeks it’s been one thing right after the other and yesterday was the last straw! I called an Iignitiin repair service to come and replace/repair the ignition because it’s going bad and he ended up getting the key STUCK IN THE IGNITION at the ACC and said he can’t get it out and he can’t fix it and he’s ā€œreally sorryā€ like fu**ing what? I WAS SO MAD and there’s nothing I can do. The company won’t call me back and I can’t get the key out and I don’t have the tools, knowledge or skill to remove the ignition cylinder myself ? so now she doesn’t have a car to get to work. She’s 17 so she can’t lease a car either and I can’t just go buy her another car. So we are Sharing the best we can until this Jeep comes in.

Wow. This is why I use humor. People can bitch if they want to, that doesn't mean we have to listen. Swipe right on by.
Many of us are frustrated, particularly if you've seen ZERO movement. That's what this forum is for. This isn't a high school reunion where everyone pretends that everything in their life rocks.
That said, everyone take a drink/puff and chill.
For what its worth too. Im blatantly exagerating my eagerness here.
Is it a bit annoying i have 0 updates since 6/23, sure. Esspecially watching orders from like a week ago be built and shipped. Sure its a bit frustrating.
But ultimately i knew what i signed up for i knew the wait.
But also annoying my dealer told me the one and only update i did bug him for,
"Could be 6 weeks or sooner" and that was 4 weeks ago. And still no movement.
Really though as long as its around Xmas or sooner, is what i expected.
Longer i wait, more is paid off. And my work just offered double time for over 40. Time to work the fall away so i can enjoy it when it shows.
Im still gunna exagerate here on the forum, like a child who wants something. Haha

Yeah it definitely doesn't help to have an urgent need come up during the ordering process, especially how you are trying to plan around and patiently deal with your daughter's car and now that...jeez that would piss anyone off. Hang in there! ?

Yeah buts it’s ok. We will just have to make it work. She doesn’t have to work but I like her to have a job and it’s too far to walk or Uber every day. And she likes her job so I don’t want her to have to quit because she can’t get there. It’ll all work out though. We’re good people, good things happen to good people eventually lol
