Has anyone ever shipped a Jeep before? I am looking to ship my Jeep and my 5 series BMW from Miami to Southern California. I got a quote from National Car Shipping for $1795. Does that sound good? https://longdistancetowing.com/towing-quotes/

That's probably about right. I did it NY-> LA six years ago and it was around $1,200. Given where gas prices have gone and that six years have passed, that sounds about right. Just be very careful about taking tons of pictures of the vehicles before handing them over and inspecting them carefully on delivery. Document ANY damage you see on delivery and have the drive sign something acknowledging the damage. These guys can be tough to deal with.

Pizza tracker just moved me to "Scheduled" in the tracker and my VIN now shows up. Scheduled date is August 23, but I think I recall it being said on here that the "scheduled" date is the date the scheduling occurred, not the date for which production is scheduled. Seems dumb, but probably right.

That's correct. The scheduled date on the tracker is the date it was scheduled, not the date it's scheduled to be built. And yeah, it's incredibly dumb.

I am in the Dayton Ohio area and I got my Sahara window sticker on 4/24/22 and picked it up from the dealer on 4/27/22. So being in Ohio would seem to be an advantage...

Thanks Yea I have to do it at seperate times so its $1800 per vehicle. But yeah My sister did it 10 years ago and it was like $1000 cross country

It is not correct. It has no way of determining D status so it defaults to the previous status, that being C.

My window sticker is now available for one of my ordered rubicons. After it was built it wasnt available. But i can now view it

I can see my VIN on the Tracker and it is in D1 Status, but no projected ship date yet. I am glad you are moving up almost to production too...
