My justification for the XR package and Sky one touch was...

XR Package is $3,995. For 2023 you have to pay $1,095 for the base Rubicon Wheels. I figured the XR package was worth 4k and an even bigger win for $2,900 above what I'm already being forced to pay!

SOT Package is $4,145. I was going to get Hard Top $1,645 and the Sunrider top for the Freedom Panels $895. I was going to spend $2,540 on the top anyways. So I figured, what is another $1,605 for the SOT? I don't have to worry about storage, I get the open air feel and the top can open and close much easier then the Hardtop.

LOL, but of course this is my logic... I didn't say it was sound :P !

That's actually a really quick turnaround between order confirmed and ship date. Nice!

Wow, that’s great! I ordered 7/19 and have a VIN, nothing else. LOL

Took a while to get a hold of the salesman to confirm VIN.
VIN finally confirmed on 8/3 and was told it had status of D1.

So I have a sad story... Or perhaps I'm just too picky but at these prices I want what I want - so my 2022 JLUR XR (ordered on 4/28) which just went to KZ status and I received the build sheet on today... was built with the wrong color. The order review sheet said Hydro, the build sheet said High Velocity (the one color I DID NOT want) and so... I am back to the drawing board. Good news, I get a 2023. Bad news... I know how long and painful the wait is. How very long the wait is...

So, I get to start the waiting process anew with a new group of friends.

8/10 - (re)Ordered: 2023 JLUR XR - Hydro Blue (I hope, 2nd times a charm), 3.6L, both safety pkgs, integrated trail cam, dual-top, steel bumpers, tow pkg...

As a fan of Hydro and XR package, I can’t wait to see a picture of your Jeep when it arrives

What did your dealer tell you for your estimated shipping date?

Im guessing with my estimated shipping date of 8/27 that my build date would be a couple days before that.

idk he gave me a build/ship date of 8/16 then it changed to 8/17 that's all I know. I do live in Toledo where the wranglers are built and the dealership is only 10 minutes away

No kidding. Tracker says scheduled for me. But doesn’t say when it is scheduled for or anything else. Even the VIN says tbd. But I was able to get estimated ship date and VIN from the dealer.

The tracker really seems to be kind of a joke at this stage. Maybe it’s useful towards the end… I’m not sure.

There is a person on here that works at the assembly plant and I believe they stated the 11th.

I've seen the 11th thrown around a bunch, but nobody here has a build date this week. Everyone seems to start the week of the 15th.

Granted the forum is tiny compared to the big picture, but you figure at least one person would have a build date 8/11-8/14.
