As of today, I sit as follows:

Ordered on 7/27 (Hydro Blue 4xe Sahara)
Confirmed on 8/2
Checked TODAY with my rep - current status is in D1, I have my VIN, and their estimated ship date is 9/6. Still got a very cautious time estimation from them in saying realistically I could see it in November based on Dealer receiving, prepping, and then getting everything closed and prepped to ship from Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA up to Chicago.

I'm still hoping this all goes quicker - as I would like to have this done and signed by end of September - Mid October.
I know our fine elected officials in Washington threw a wrench in what will be the tax credits for future EV's (I believe starting in 2024 - so I'd rather be closed and done with the transaction before I end up missing out on anything.

This is the only info I got

The dealer/salesperson is supposed to help you with info on your order - reach out and ask for an update.
They send me updates via text every other Monday. I have a VIN and order number and am told I’m in D status. But I’ve literally been in D status since 6/9. Odd how others who ordered after me have build dates etc. frustrating. My biggest concern has been the jeep tracker. When I first placed the order and logged it my order showed up. For the past week when I go to check the tracker it says no info found for that order. Dealer says no worries that it’s there and confirmed. Was expecting a late sept early October deliver and now I’ll just be happy with a Xmas gift for myself lol.

It's not really odd. When I had a 2022 ordered, I was in D status for 4 months while others who ordered after me had already received their orders. There's no rhyme or reason to it. I did not, however, that you have a High Altitude, which by all accounts, are expected to take a LONG time for 2023.

The dealer I ordered from is in Toledo, so it's even sadder that they still have ordered Wranglers and Gladiators waiting delivery after a few months.
Well ordering from a dealer in Toledo should not have a long delivery delay, as there is definately no rail trip. And if they truck it, it is a short trip.

Thank god FedEx doesn't handle it. Otherwise that trip from Toledo to Toledo would involve a detour to Phoenix... Atlanta... Nashville...

Why would the HA take a longer time than normal, I haven't heard that?
I heard there was an issue with the Altitude but not the HA?
Thanks for the information :)

I could be mistaken on the Altitude vs. High Altitude, and for your sake I hope I am. I seem to recall some posts about it being "late availability" but I may be confusing the two. But with regards to your long and frustrating wait for movement, that's remains par for the course, unfortunately.

That sounds super weird. At 6/9 was it 2022 or 2023?

I'm saying, that my dealer showed me Wranglers/Gladiators that are in KZ or later status, that have sat there for weeks, even being not even 15 miles away. When the truck actually picks them up, absolutely, it will be there same day. But they have MY 22 Wranglers they have been waiting on sitting at one of the lots waiting to be picked up for delivery, sitting in KZ+ status for weeks.

A lot of it has to do with delivery scheduling for KZ vehicles likely mostly FIFO (first in first out). Sure, the Wrangler they ordered was in KZ status, but it still has to wait for the 5000 other ones ahead of it to be picked up before it goes.

Speaking of losing money, ever wonder why the United States Postal Service loses so much money every year. Below is the shipping info on a package I ordered from Newegg.com. The package was shipped from Indianapolis Indiana, and needed to be send to the Dayton Ohio area. Roughly 100 miles, a straight shot across I-70. The package covered over 800 miles and passed the destination 3 times during its trip. The start of the trip is on the bottom and the top was where the package was finally shipped to me in the Vandalia Ohio. Grove City is near Columbus, 60 miles East of Dayton. Bowling Green Ohio is a straight shot up I-75 from Dayton, 123 miles North. Then the package went to Pittsburg PA, roughly 255 miles from Dayton. And then back to Cincinnati Ohio, 50 miles South of Dayton.

Just another example of how screwed up the delivery system is for Jeep. They could get a towing company to put a new Jeep on a flatbed and probably get it delivered for a couple hundred dollars tops...

Yeah I am fairly certain it is the Altitude that has late availability, and yeah I have gathered the long wait is to be expected. So I wait...... lol

Hello everyone. New member here and also new to Jeep. I always wanted one and now hopefully I will be getting my 2023 2 dr Manual Sport S at some point in the near-ish future ?

The 2dr manual crew seems pretty small here but happy to be apart of it and Jeep in general.

Super excited and can’t wait to drive.

My '22 JLU was ordered 11/13/21 & wasn't built until 5/19/22. Then wasn't delivered to the dealer until 7/17/22 (a month after I gave up on it and bought something else).

Conversely, my wife's '23 Grand Cherokee L Summit High Altitude 4x4 was ordered on 5/24/22 & built on 8/6/22?‍♂
